  11. Discussion of Handbook's current draft status from November 29, 1990.
  12. It has been decided to go ahead with the I-D process to RFC publication.
  13.  
  14. We have formally requested a 30 minute plenary slot at the Atlanta IETF
  15. to talk about the Site Security Policy Handbook, which we expect to be a
  16. FYI/RFC by that plenary.
  17.  
  18. We have established the following firm dates for the Handbook:

  21.    o The document is open for comments and revisions until May 15, 1991.
  22.      Paul Holbrook will be working on the contents of the document for
  23.      fine tuning and clarity per comments received back from SSPHWGers.
  24.      Paul's deadline is April 15, 1991.

  26.      Joyce Reynolds will take over and make editorial adjustments to the
  27.      document, per comments received back from SSPHWGers on how the
  28.      document could have a more even ``flow'' if some sections were
  29.      rearranged.  Joyce's deadline is May 15, 1991.

  31.    o After the May 15th close of comments and revisions, Paul and Joyce
  32.      will continue to incorporate any final comments.  The document will
  33.      be submitted as an Internet-Draft by EOB Pacific Time, May 31,
  34.      1991.

  36.    o There were a substantial number of comments about Section 2,
  37.      especially from Rich Pethia of the CERT. Barbara Fraser of CERT has
  38.      agreed to take over Chapter 2, with the assistance of Allen
  39.      Sturtevant, to rework it to be consistent with the comments
  40.      received.  An updated Chapter 2 will be provided by the May 15th
  41.      deadline.

  43.    o Once the Handbook is in the I-D process, there will be a 30 day
  44.      stay in I-D land, allowing for final comments by June 28, 1991.
  45.      Paul and Joyce will edit any comments and submit the I-D to the RFC
  46.      Editor by EOB Pacific Time, July 12, 1991.
